You might say Chef, What does pastry have to do with two brothers name “Grimm” ? Think for a moment back in time when your imagination first begin to stir , perhaps it was when your parents or Grandparents read you a bedtime story! For me it was late at night when laying in bed with my sister twenty years my senior , her voice so beckon me to follow the story. Her hair was long and flowing as if she too was one of the princesses in the story. Her life nor free from drama of its own. Her voice inmated the charterers so well from the wicked witch to the children lost and hungry.
Some where between mid way and the end I asked, ” Would you like to live in a Ginger-bread house?” “And could you would you make one with me?” A thousand questions came to mind… “Where in the world would you buy such candy to adorn it with?”I could not rest till the following day I convinced her to help me make one.
It was not the masterpiece we both thought it would be. But that day my my sister baked up a memory I will never forget!!
